Sleep Gummies

Maybe it's just me. But, I had to start taking two gummies, sometimes three. I am needing something stronger. Higher THC levels are fine. I don't worry about Random UA's. So, 4 out of 5 stars. If you can point to the right product and it works, 5 out of 5 stars will be yours

HI Tad, thanks for your review! You are our first customer to report needing to take 2-3 gummies of Drift+ (our stronger option in the Drift line of gummies) to get the desired sleep-enhancing effect. Since each Drift+ gummy contains 15mg of drowsy-making CBN, that means you are taking 30-45mg. That's more than we recommend, but shouldn't cause any issues. One thing you might consider. Some of our customers like adding extra delta-8 to their nighttime dosage of Drift+. You might consider ordeing a 10-pack of our 30mg Chill delta-8 gummies and adding 1/2 of a d8 gummy to your Drift+ gummy.

Yes! The term cannabis is often misunderstood, and is usually thought of as only marijuana. This is not true! Hemp is also a cannabis plant. The only real difference is that hemp by law must contain less than .3% delta-9 THC, the compound that creates the "high" feeling. If the delta-9 THC is higher than .3% in the cannabis plant, then the plant is marijuana. Interestingly, the .3% number was randomly picked from a Canadian research project 50 years ago, and has no true relevance. It takes over 4% delta-9 THC (more than 10 times the legal hemp limit)  to actually feel any "high" effect. Federal law is considering moving the legal limit for THC in a hemp plant to 1%. We would welcome this change!

Great question, and very misunderstood! Yes and no. There are two kinds of hemp - feminized (for CBD) and pollinated (for omegas and protein). Feminized hemp is fat and bushy and never pollinated. It looks like the marijuana plant, but has been bred over time to have very little THC. It has buds without seeds, these are called flower in the industry. This flower is rich in CBD or CBG depending on the strain. Pollinated hemp, where male and female hemp plants are allowed to grow together, is tall and skinny with seed clusters. It has very little CBD if any, and is grown for its fiber in the stalk (textile) of for its seeds. The seeds are cold pressed and the oil is rich in protein and omegas, but does not contain CBD. Hemp seed oil is often simply labeled as hemp oil, but it is not CBD oil. On the other hand, hemp flower oil is extracted from the plant via distillation into hemp oil that is loaded with CBD or CBG. At AdvenTrue we only use hemp flower oil giving our products high quality CBD or CBG.

CBD may help address underlying factors contributing to poor sleep, such as promoting relaxation. In addition to CBD, CBN is believed to improve the nighttime benefits of CBD. However, individual responses to CBD and CBN can vary, and it is important to combine CBD and CBN usage with healthy sleep habits. The FDA has not evaluated CBD or CBN as sleep aids, and any sleep issues and conditions should be discussed with your healthcare professional.

The best time to take CBD and CBN for sleep can vary among individuals, but 30-60 minutes before bedtime is often suggested as a good starting point. A dosage of around 25-30 mg of CBD and 5-10mg of CBN is our recommended dosage. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the best approach for your specific sleep concerns.

The optimal CBD dosage for sleep can vary depending on factors such as individual body chemistry, the severity of sleep issues, and the specific CBD product used. We advise combining 25-30mg of full-spectrum CBD with 5-10mg of CBN for a drift-like feeling that helps nighttime rest. We prefer the refreshed mornings from CBN over the foggy mornings from melatonin. The FDA has not approved either CBD or CBN as a sleep aid, so it is essential to consult with a healthcare professional to provide personalized guidance on the appropriate CBD and CBN dosage for sleep.

An excellent question! CBN and melatonin serve different purposes when it comes to sleep. Melatonin is a hormone that helps regulate the sleep-wake cycle, while CBN may promote relaxation and improve nighttime comfort. Some people find that melatonin leaves them foggy in the morning, and that's the main reason we don't use melatonin in our nighttime products.  The FDA has not evaluated CBD or CBN as sleep aids, and any sleep issues and conditions should be discussed with your healthcare professional.

The choice between delta-8 and CBD/CBN for sleep depends on individual preferences and needs. Delta-8 is a cannabinoid similar to Delta-9 THC but with milder psychoactive effects. CBD and CBN, on the other hand, are non-intoxicating. Customers have reported that delta-8 may have a more substantial impact on promoting sleep, but it also has the potential for more groggy side effects. But both compounds have potential benefits for improving sleep. The FDA has not approved delta-8, CBD, or CBN, so it is essential to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the best approach for your specific sleep concerns.

The choice between THC and CBD for sleep depends on individual preferences. Both delta-8 THC and delta-9 THC are psychoactive, producing a "high" effect. While they both appear to promote relaxation, they combine other effects that some people like, while others may not. CBD and CBN are non-intoxicating, yet also promote relaxation and restful conditions. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the best approach for your specific sleep concerns.
