FAQs
CBD, CBG, and THC are all cannabinoids found in the hemp plant and are all part of the cannabis family. Different strains of cannabis have been naturally bred through time to have a dominant cannabinoid. Marijuana is dominant delta-9 THC while most hemp is dominanat CBD or CBG. We use low-THC hemp that is rich in either CBD or CBG depending on the strain of hemp.
CBD and CBG have similar effects regarding benefits for pain and edginess. CBD is calming and helps create a sense of well being. CBG actually helps the CBD work better, plus CBG has a brighter feel that promotes focus. CBG is also believed to help maintain a healthy gut.
CBG, like CBD, is a cannabinoid naturally found in the hemp plant. At AdvenTrue, we use some strains of hemp plants rich in CBD and some strains rich in CBG.We then extract and distill the oils from the plants and blend those into our all-natural products. CBG is thought to have a better effect on the gut, improve a sense of calm, provide a clarifying lift, and help soothe pain as well or better than CBD. CBG and CBD work very well together for both gummies and topicals.
Yes and no! This is the most confusing part of the hemp industry! CBD is made from legal hemp, but there are two kinds of hemp. We use feminized hemp flower (buds with no seeds) extracted from a short, bushy hemp plant specifically grown to produce cannabinoids such as CBD and CBG. The other type of pollinated hemp (tall and skinny) is grown to produce hemp seed and fiber, and it contains little, if any, CBD. Hemp seed is cold pressed into oil and contains rich omegas but no CBD. Hemp products are often labeled in a confusing way, not clearly stating whether the product is made from hemp seed (omegas) or hemp flower (CBD and/or CBG). At AdvenTrue, our products all use oil extracted from flower, rich in potent CBD and CBG.
Many customers have tried CBD for a variety of benefits, only to be disappointed. A few factors may play into why consumers are not feeling the effects of CBD. Those can include: dosage, body chemistry, usage, or product ingredients. We find that simple CBD products can have limitations. Each Adventrue product uses specific formulas that feature a combination of powerful cannabinoids and essential oils. For our Balance anytime gummies and our Renew muscle/joint topical lotion we combine CBD and CBG. For our nighttime gummies and tincture we combine CBD and CBN. We also use full spectrum CBD which includes the hemp plant's natural combination of CBD, a small amount of THC and many minor cannabinoids - all naturally combined to work the best with your body's endocannabinoid system.
CBD gummies could potentially help with stress, as CBD has been reported to have calming properties that may promote relaxation. However, the effectiveness of CBD for managing stress has not been evaluated by the FDA, and it is important to consider other stress management techniques and consult with a healthcare professional for personalized professional advice.
Full spectrum hemp CBD, more so than isolated CBD alone, could potentially help with stress and anxiety, as it contains a range of cannabinoids that contain multiple compounds that work synergistically to affect the body's endocannabinoid system. However, the effects of CBD on stress and anxiety have not been approved by the FDA, and more research is needed to understand the efficacy fully. It is essential to consult with a healthcare professional for guidance regarding any issues with stress and anxiety.
The time it takes for CBD gummies to take effect can depend on factors such as metabolism, dosage, and individual body chemistry. Most consumers feel the calming effects within 30-45 minutes.
The duration of the effects of CBD gummies can vary depending on dosage, metabolism, and individual body chemistry. CBD effects are typically mild and can last several hours.
CBD gummies may be generally beneficial for seniors, but it is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating them into a senior's routine. They can provide guidance based on individual health conditions and medications. For example, AdvenTrue's 70 year old CEO and co-founder uses CBD, CBG and CBN on a daily basis!
The frequency of CBD intake can vary depending on individual needs and the CBD product used. Some individuals may benefit from taking CBD daily, while others may prefer using it as needed during times of increased stress. It is recommended to start with a low dosage and adjust as necessary, always consulting with a healthcare professional for personalized guidance.
CBD products could potentially show positive for THC in a blood test. Full-spectrum CBD, that naturally is produced by the hemp plant, contains up to .3% THC (a very small but beneficial amount). Full spectrum is considered the most effective form of CBD. Broad-spectrum CBD does not contain THC and would not show up on a THC drug test. We use full-spectrum CBD and CBG in our Balance gummies and tincture because it works the best!
Unlike marijuana, CBD is legal federally, but the regulations regarding taking CBD gummies on a flight can vary. It is recommended to check with the airline and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) beforehand to understand their specific guidelines and policies.
There is not much research available, but it is believed that CBD and alcohol may amplify each other's effects, and taking both together in high doses may cause unwanted sedation. Be sure to consult with a healthcare professional or pharmacist regarding the potential interactions between CBD and alcohol.
